Ouch why you gotta have running insoles on all the time
Run safely... Running is more dangerous than you think.. well for your feet anyway.. in this post I would like to reiterate what I said in my last blog post about running with insoles! Weather you are choosing to buy some custom insoles or not just make sure you wear them all the time. Some one recently in our running team had to drop out all because they forgot to wear their proper insoles.. and after just 1 run they developed some nasty blisters.. now they have to wait till they heal until they can run again. Some people may tell you that you will need custom insoles but this is a bit wrong really as there are plenty of insoles you can buy that are just as good if not better! . I say this due to the reasons of some non custom insoles will adapt to the shape of your foot anyway and that is the whole point of custom insoles.. so if some non custom insoles made out of foam or gel do this why bother spending hundreds of euros on custom ones... doesn't make much sense to me and never got why people are fooled so much into buying them. So dont be a fool like my friends was in my running team.... Get some and always have them on!
Running insoles all you need when running
Hey guys.. I know I don't blog much here.. I never have enough time. But recently I went running with couple my friends and all of a sudden snap... my feet where in huge pain and I was hoping all the way home.. looking like a right goon. Went then to see a doctor who said I must rest for ages because I have plantar fasciitis he also said I ought to get some proper footwear with some proper supporting insoles in my shoes next time otherwise it will comeback.. this is what I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT....
buying running shoes which can cost loads can be a waste of money... no really as running shoes give no support or protection whilst you run. Make sure you are protecting your feet! Running insoles are used and are a lot more important than what running shoes you are wearing as running orthotics are designed to absorb shock stopping the shock from hurting your feet.. the insoles also have added arch support to prevent stress and tension building up and inflaming the plantar fascia.. if the plantar fascia is to get inflamed or damaged this can turn into plantar fasciitis (heel spurs). Make sure that if you are going to go running that either your running shoes have got built in arch shock absorbing insoles or that you get some online and put them in.. you will see a huge difference in shoe comfort too... so make sure you do! Not only that runners are far more likely to get overuse injuries form running that normal people some of the best insoles help to stop the shock.. damage and tension that can cause overuse foot injuries. When we run our feet undergo a lot of shock and insoles will combat this making sure that this shock is dealt with quickly.... if when you run after a while your feet start to ache this is exactly that... and means that the shocks and pressures are damaging your feet and overtime this can lead to injury if you do nothing about it.. so get protected. When I first started running i used to get running injuries all the time.. I first thought that it was down to my running technique.. I looked online for running technique tips.. and after a while my running technique was near perfect yet the aches and pains continued... it was only after reading more on running injuries and how you can avoid them with orthotics that I realized it wasn't my running technique that was the problem it was in fact my poorly fitted and rubbish runnign shoes which didn't have the right insoles... Remember sports people, and runners get injuries all the time even the professionals.. and that because of issues like lack of arch support and protection rather than poor technique. If you want to protect yourself and keep on running what is stopping you from getting some arch support insoles or some running insoles..You dont want plantar fasciitis do you which will mean you want be able to run for some time? Insoles dont cost a lot but can prevent all this really silly injuries.
At our running club we are always telling fellow runners to use orthtoic insoles..... regardless of what shoes they are wearing!

Has anybody heard of shoe lifts before?
I came across something really quite odd today... but potentially something really great!
Whilst trying to find the best running insoles I came across this blog post which actually tells you all about some insoles which aren't for running exactly but are comfortable to wear all day but here is the good part.. these shoe lifts as they are called increase your height... Woah I bet you really didn't think that was possible and that you were just stuck at the height you are now and there was not anything you could do about it.. well apparently not.. I was probably just as shocked as you are right now. Anyway shoe lifts are worn by lots and lots of people everywhere so the blog post says on jhbootcamp's blog... So just maybe the people who are taller than you might not be taller than you really they are just wearing shoe lifts... Lets just keep this our little secret shall we.. we dont want everyone finding out about them and being tall.. hehe! I am going to order some right now... I will post another post when I get them and tried them out for myself to see if they actually do what they are meant to and if they are comfortable to wear or just a waste of money.
(Update Just looked on some online shops and shoe lifts are so cheap..... must get some now to try them out at least I was thinking you had to buy custom ones which would cost a load of money but nope you dont)

Tip! Running insoles for flat feet help for plantar fasciitis
Here is a quick tip for all you runners out and about... we all know how dangerous running can be for our feet so hopefully this may help you lots out.. it sure did help me. Running insoles are great help for plantar fasciitis.. they really do help with stopping the aches and pains that can come along when running long distances on hard surfaces. I usually run long distances i used to get really annoying aches in my feet I later found out i was suffering from plantar fasciitis because i wasn't wearing the right foot wear and just didn't have the best insoles i could have been wearing... More to the point i bought some good running insoles and now my problem has gone!
